Writer/Director Rob Lambert has always been fascinated by case studies on human behavior. He started off working in film pre-production at Paramount Pictures before launching LA based production company Rimrock Pictures. He currently has several projects in various stages of development.
Feature. Rob’s first feature film, CUCK, is a timely character study examining a self-marginalized, brooding young man who finds solace on the internet and ultimately turns to violence. CUCK will be released theatrically in the U.S. October 2019 through Gravitas Ventures.
Feaure In Development. After receiving acclaim for his short film Los Niños Sicarios, Rob expanded the story into a pilot and series, which he then sold and developed with SONY/CRACKLE for a year, before adapting to a feature screenplay. Currently in talks as the next project.
Pilot. Music-doc Breaking: LA, a series Rob created for Project Greenlight Digital and Adaptive Studios, follows Los Angeles based musicians on the cusp of stardom. The show is currently being pitched to networks and svod platforms.
Documentary. Rob’s mini documentary LA Character, a profile piece on LAPD Officer Deon Joseph and his role in the Skid Row community, was the Grand Prize winner of New Filmmakers Los Angeles.
